I wanted to write to personally let you know how happy I am with the violin I purchased. I was looking for a decent 'mid-level' violin and expected to pay $1000-$1500. When I came across your website, I decided to take a chance and purchase the instrument... What I received was a very beautiful instrument, with a great sound that I'm sure will get even better over time... for much less money than I had planned to spend. I took the violin into the shop of a luthier here in Boston, someone who has NEVER approved of anything I've purchased (and there have been some expensive violins...). He instantly recognized it as a Gliga, set the soundpost, and played it for the next 20 minutes. When he asked me what I paid for it, he just smiled and shook his head and gave me a big 'thumbs up.' It's good to know that there is quality workmanship that comes from people who care about their customers. When my daughter moves to her next violin (in about six months), you can bet I'll be back. I did get the violins; they came while I was at Scout camp. These are also very nice violins, I'm sure when I take them to the folks actually buying them, that they will be as pleased as before. I am also going to show them to our violin teacher today. She is going to be getting her own son a 1/10 size in the next year, depending on how fast he grows, and I think she'll like these better than the standard Suzuki she's been using with most students. Maybe we'll be buying another. I've been pleased doing business with you. If you ever have a need to give a reference for another customer, I would be glad to let them know not only the quality of your instruments, but also the terrific and pleasant service. just wanted to let you know that the violin arrived today. You packaged it very well. It is the most beautiful violin I have ever seen. It well excedes my expectations and although I haven't tuned it I ran the bow across the strings and got a terrific tone. The violin arrived here today. I will be leaving feedback on Ebay, but I want to give you a 'first impression'. As soon as I lifted the bubble wrapped violin from the box, I knew that I would simply love this instrument. The weight is really very wonderful. Your photography is quite good on your website, but nothing compared to the real thing. This instrument, what can I say, is simply beautiful. The detailing is indescribable. The sound? Even though I have only been able to spend about 1 hour so far with this instrument, I can tell you that it is a 'diamond in the rough'. Delicate and dark is such a perfect description. I can't wait until I have fully awakened this instrument because I believe that her voice is very beautiful indeed. I am not an expert with violins, but I know what I like. I took this violin, immediately to my friend who is quite a good musician. He played a few tunes and was thoroughly delighted. He looked very closely at everything and, like me, was very happy with everything that he saw. Certainly he agrees with me that this violin will make many public appearances. I just wanted to let you know that the violin made it here safe and sound. I have to tell you that I got very little housework done today because I was playing the violin almost all day long. ... But what a nice instrument. I am enjoying it, it is just the right size for me. It feels very good to play and it is soooooo beautiful to look at. I need to spend a couple more days with it to be sure we're meant for each other, although I have to tell you I don't think you'll be seeing this little violin again.
