We're keeping the 1/8 Professional. She said both violins were fine but she liked the warmer tone of the Professional. Chase just thinks the "stripes" are cool. Go figure. I knew I wasn't going to get out too cheap and satisfy everyone. I want to thank you again for all your help and how friendly you've been through all this violin shipping business. Hi, I got the violin. It seems to be in excellent shape, the workmanship is extraordinary, and it is even more beautiful than the pictures. I've only had a little time to play it, but it already seems to be opening up, tonally, and it is very easy to play. I hope to begin performing with this instrument as soon as possible, and I'm even more excited to hear how it records. I should have an opportunity for that in the near future. Hello Chris, The violin arrived safely last night. I am very impressed with the sound and workmanship, especially the sound which can only get better with age and playing. All I did was tune it and started playing. I haven't been able to stop playing much since. Thanks again, Tom
